Mia Khalifa is a Jewelery Designer Now!
Mia Khalifa, once a top adult actress, has quit the industry after a brief stint. She partnered with the designer Sara Burn to launch a high-class jewellery-bodywear brand named ‘Sheytan.’ The label has an elegant range of belly chains, necklaces, anklets, and thongs.
On her decision to leave the adult industry, her fans were shocked as they were not able to understand why, after gaining so much fame, one would do so? She gave a reply to her fans in a podcast saying that,
“I got talked into eloping to Las Vegas four days after my 18th birthday. I didn’t have a sense of self so I attached myself to someone who was more than happy to abuse that and someone who could see that and see someone easily manipulatable… but at the same time eager to please. It was just the perfect storm.”
Mia clearly said that the industry is quite exploitative and manipulative which made her realize that she was not made for it.
Mia Khalifa was born in 1993 in Beirut, Lebanon. Her real name is Sarah Joe Chamoun. Being bullied in school, it was not an easy childhood for her. Joined the adult industry in October 2014, but left it after understanding the reality of it. She was previously married to his school boyfriend and then to a chef named Robert Sandberg. Later, she dated Puerto Rican rapper and singer Jhayco.
Her life is full of roller coaster rides, her parents are disconnected from her, and she also faced major backlash from her community for her work. Apart from this, she is also active in various social welfare activities. She has raised funds for various causes, like in August 2021, she auctioned her glasses, which she had won in her various videos, to raise funds for the victims of the Beirut Explosion 2020.
