About Stars Fun Facts
Stars Fun Facts is an independent entertainment site written and edited by Prashant Sharma. It launched in August 2025 and covers Indian reality television and the people who appear on it.
Who runs this site
One person. I am Prashant Sharma. I founded Stars Fun Facts, I write the articles, and I am responsible for everything published here. There is no newsroom, no editorial team and no parent company behind it. If something on this site is wrong, it is my mistake to correct.
I am not a broadcaster insider. I have no access to production sets and I do not conduct original interviews with the people I write about. What I do is follow Indian reality television closely and compile what is publicly known into profiles and guides that are easier to use than a scattered pile of news reports.
What this site covers
The focus is Indian reality television:
- Bigg Boss (Hindi and Malayalam)
- MTV Splitsvilla
- Lock Upp
- Tamasha
Around those shows, the site publishes season guides covering contestants, hosts, timings and where to watch, plus profiles of the contestants and public figures connected to them.
Some older articles cover subjects outside this focus, including cricket, films and general celebrity news. Those stay published where they remain accurate, but new work is concentrated on reality television.
How information is researched
Every article is compiled from publicly available sources:
- Broadcaster and streaming-platform announcements for cast lists, air dates and formats
- Published interviews and reporting from mainstream outlets, including The Times of India, Hindustan Times, NDTV, The Indian Express, The Economic Times and the BBC
- Official social media accounts of the people involved
- Public records and official statements where relevant
Sources are linked inside the article so you can check them yourself. Where a widely repeated detail cannot be traced to a reliable source, the article says so instead of stating it as fact. Net worth figures are the most common example: they circulate widely, are rarely verifiable, and are labelled as estimates here.
What this site does not do
- No original interviews and no first-hand reporting
- No claims of insider or production access
- No paid placements or sponsored profiles presented as editorial coverage
