Five housemates have been evicted and Nakul was thrown out, which leaves 12 in the house after Week 7.
What has changed since Bigg Boss 19
Last year’s Bigg Boss 19 premiered on 24 August 2025 and ran for 106 days. It ended on 7 December with Gaurav Khanna winning the trophy and Rs 50 lakh, and Farhana Bhatt finished as the runner-up. That season was built around “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar”, a parliament-style theme, and it opened with 16 housemates before two wild cards, Shehbaz Badesha and Malti Chahar, took the total to 18.
Bigg Boss 20 started about two weeks later in the year, again with 16 housemates, and swapped the parliament idea for lifelines. Salman Khan is back for his 17th season as host, and the slots are the same as last year: JioHotstar at 9:00 PM and Colors TV at 10:30 PM. For every champion from Rahul Roy in the first season to Gaurav Khanna, see our Bigg Boss winners list.
How the Tathastu lifeline twist works
This season’s theme is “Tathastu” (the makers also write it as “Tathas-two”), and the biggest change is the lifeline rule. Every housemate started with two lives. Getting the fewest votes costs a housemate one life, not their place in the house. Only someone who has lost both is evicted.

Lives can also be taken away, or handed back, in tasks. A lot of that happens in the 2X Room, one of two new rooms in the house this year. It has two doors: Door X lets a housemate take away someone else’s life, and Door 2 gives lives back. Captaincy contenders, ration tasks and special powers have all been used to take lives this season. In Week 6, the house even voted to give up Arishfa Khan’s life in exchange for ration.
That is why three of the seven weekends so far have ended with nobody leaving. Uditi Singh in Week 1, Mary Kom in Week 4 and Aman Gandhi in Week 5 all got the fewest votes and stayed, losing a life each instead. Neither Aman nor Mary Kom escaped a second time. Both were evicted the next time they finished last, Aman in Week 6 and Mary Kom in Week 7.
Week 7 (19-25 October): Mary Kom evicted, Mahhi Vij is captain
Week 7 opened with Arishfa Khan still angry about the life she lost in Week 6 and ended without Salman Khan. Rohit Shetty hosted the weekend, and the vote cost two housemates a life each: Mary Kom her last one, and Manish Goel his first.
Arishfa’s water protest
In Episode 44 on 19 October, Arishfa poured water over the beds of Kanika Mann, Mahhi Vij and Gullu, ignoring Uditi Singh, who tried to stop her. Gullu hit back by soaking her bed. That night, Yung DSA and ScoutOP gave up their beds and slept on the floor, and Manish Goel joined them, which left Arishfa in tears. She apologised to the house the next day, and Kanika and Gullu hugged it out with her.
Week 7 nominations: seven housemates in danger
Before the nomination task in Episode 45 on 20 October, captain ScoutOP used his power to put Uditi Singh straight into the nominations. The rest of the house then stamped labels on each other. Manish Goel and Amrapali Dubey got the most stamps for “boring”, and Arishfa Khan, Love Gill, Gullu and Mary Kom were tagged as “sore losers”.
The seven nominees were Uditi Singh, Manish Goel, Amrapali Dubey, Arishfa Khan, Love Gill, Gullu and Mary Kom.

The same episode had one of the week’s biggest rows. Aasif Khan took a dig at Qazi Touqeer, and Qazi answered by clutching his chest as if he were having a heart attack. Aasif took it personally, and other housemates objected too. Qazi later apologised and said the joke had been meant for Mahhi Vij, who had called him boring.
A ration cut and a rough captaincy task
In Episode 46 on 21 October, Bigg Boss asked captain ScoutOP to name the housemates who least and most deserved the next captaincy. He picked Uditi Singh, Arishfa Khan and Qazi Touqeer as the least deserving, and was teased for leaving Love Gill, whom he calls his sister, off his list of the most deserving. When he got upset, Yung DSA took him into the attached washroom to talk, and Aasif Khan followed them in. Two people in the washroom at once is against the house rules, and Bigg Boss cut the ration by 50%.
The captaincy task that followed had contenders riding a turning disc towards a tunnel, while the others stuffed the tunnel with bags to block anyone they did not want as captain. It turned rough when ScoutOP pulled Arishfa out of the tunnel by her legs. Scout said she had been smiling. Arishfa said that did not mean she was comfortable, and Qazi took her side in the argument that followed.
Mahhi Vij becomes captain
The task ran into Episode 47 on 22 October, which also showed Qazi and Mahhi drifting apart. Qazi told Uditi and Arishfa that he was hurt by the way Mahhi had been treating him, and Mahhi told Gullu and Kanika that she had cut down the time she spent with him. The same episode showed Uditi in tears, saying she was anxious and missed her pet dog, Laila.
Even so, it was Qazi who made Mahhi captain. He was left with the deciding say in the final round (Episode 48, 23 October) and picked her. The same episode had Love Gill and Amrapali Dubey arguing over kitchen work, with Love saying her shoulder had not fully healed and ScoutOP taking her side. The house also celebrated 21 years since Qazi won Fame Gurukul.
Weekend Ka Vaar: Rohit Shetty stands in for Salman
Salman Khan had told the housemates on 18 October that a prior commitment would keep him away, so filmmaker Rohit Shetty hosted both weekend episodes, promising that nothing would be scripted. On Saturday (Episode 49, 24 October), he asked Aasif Khan about his row with Qazi and told him his aggressive approach had nearly turned physical. When Aasif complained about Qazi’s language, Rohit asked whether the rest of them were allowed to swear.
Rohit also took up ScoutOP and Love Gill’s closeness, including Scout massaging Love’s hands, feet and neck under a blanket. Love said she sees Scout as a brother. Rohit told her it did not look right from the outside, and Scout said he massages Mahhi too when she asks.
Mary Kom evicted, Manish Goel loses a life
Rohit announced the result on Saturday instead of waiting for Sunday, and two lives went on the night. Mary Kom, who had been on her last life since Week 4, got the fewest votes and was evicted after seven weeks in the house. Manish Goel was also low in the vote and lost a life, which leaves him on his last one. Before leaving, Mary Kom told the housemates to play well and show their personalities, and joked that she would not have spared any of them in the ring. Amrapali Dubey broke down, and the house sang “You are a champion” as Mary Kom walked out.
Sunday: Kaashvi confronts ScoutOP
Sunday’s episode (Episode 50, 25 October) brought ScoutOP’s girlfriend, Kaashvi Hiranandani, onto the stage. In the promo, she questions his closeness with Love, says it makes her feel “disgusted” and asks him to cut Love out. Love says it felt normal to her because she was in pain, and Scout says he only compared Love with Kaashvi because of the way Love had looked after him.
Going into Week 8
The Week 8 nominations have not aired yet. Mahhi Vij is captain, which keeps her safe from them. Five housemates are now on their last life: Aasif Khan, Arishfa Khan, ScoutOP, Yung DSA and Manish Goel. Any of them would be evicted if they finished last in a vote. Salman Khan has said he will be back for the next Weekend Ka Vaar.
Week 6 (12-18 October): Nakul Dhull thrown out, Aman Gandhi evicted
Week 6 was the most chaotic of the season so far. Wild card Nakul Dhull was gone within three days of entering after a fight with Gullu, Arishfa Khan lost a life in a vote by her own housemates, and Aman Gandhi became the fourth housemate to be evicted.
Week 6 nominations: 11 housemates in danger
In Episode 37 on 12 October, Bigg Boss let the housemates nominate as many people as they liked, as long as they gave a reason. Captain Aasif Khan began by putting Mahhi Vij straight into the nominations. The two wild cards could nominate others but were safe themselves.
That left 11 nominees: Mahhi Vij, Qazi Touqeer, Yung DSA, Kanika Mann, Love Gill, Arishfa Khan, ScoutOP, Gullu, Uditi Singh, Aman Gandhi and Mary Kom. Apart from the captain and the wild cards, Amrapali Dubey was the only housemate who was not nominated.

The episode also had a fight over ghee between Kanika and Arishfa, after Nakul told Arishfa to keep the bottle with her. Aman confronted Nakul and ScoutOP about a conversation in the garden that had made him uncomfortable, and told them that men have boundaries too.
Nakul Dhull’s fight with Gullu
In Episode 38 on 13 October, Nakul took ScoutOP’s side against Qazi Touqeer over a remark Qazi had made about spitting in Scout’s ear. Qazi said it was a joke and asked Gullu to explain that to Nakul, and the argument quickly turned into one between Nakul and Gullu. Nakul shoved Gullu, Gullu hit back, and Nakul tore Gullu’s jumper before the others pulled them apart. Mahhi Vij was in tears, and several of the women said they did not feel safe with Nakul in the house.
Bigg Boss throws Nakul out
In Episode 39 on 14 October, Bigg Boss called everyone to the living room, said physical violence had never been tolerated in the show’s 20 years, and told Nakul to leave. Yung DSA, Kanika Mann and Arishfa Khan had already pushed him to take responsibility, and Gullu had refused to hear him out when he tried to make peace. Nakul walked out through the tunnel and later posted on Instagram that his two days were worth more than other people’s 100.
Love Gill was in trouble with the house as well. Before the decision, she had sat with Nakul in the garden to tell him about the marks on Gullu’s neck, and Aasif Khan, Qazi and Yung were angry with her for it.
ScoutOP becomes captain
The captaincy (Episode 40, 15 October) was decided by the four former captains in the house. Each went into the 2X Room and knocked out two housemates: Aasif Khan picked Love Gill and Aman Gandhi, Uditi Singh picked Mary Kom and Kanika Mann, Gullu picked Amrapali Dubey and Arishfa Khan, and Yung DSA picked Mahhi Vij and Qazi Touqeer. ScoutOP was the one left, and he became captain. Manish Goel was not in the race because he had chosen to use his nomination power that week. Mahhi did not take Yung’s pick well, and the two had a loud argument.
Arishfa Khan loses a life for ration
In Episode 41 on 16 October, the house had one chance to win ration for the week. A 20-minute timer ran in Room No. 20, and every minute the housemates took to agree on whose life to give up cost them 5% of the ration. Six of them voted for Arishfa Khan, and with 11 minutes left, captain ScoutOP announced her name. The house kept 55% of its ration. Arishfa was furious. She had words with Uditi Singh for rushing the vote and threw the cushions off the sofas, and Kanika Mann and Yung DSA said Aman Gandhi and Uditi should have stood up for their friend.
Weekend Ka Vaar: Salman on the Nakul fight
On Saturday (Episode 42, 17 October), Salman Khan told Gullu that he had handled the fight very well. He was much harder on Qazi, saying the spitting remark about ScoutOP was uncalled for and had set the whole thing off, and asking why Qazi had stayed seated instead of stepping in for his friend. Salman also questioned Aasif Khan about the way he had treated Love Gill after the fight. Love told Salman she had only shown Nakul basic courtesy while telling him he was wrong, and that she was proud of her upbringing. Aasif later apologised to her.
On Sunday (Episode 43, 18 October), Salman had Mahhi Vij show off her habit of mimicking housemates, and ran a “spine” test in which everyone named who they thought lacked one. Qazi got five votes and Aman Gandhi four. Arishfa Khan ended the night in tears after Kanika and Mahhi laughed at her reactions and most of the house said she was too easily swayed by others.
Aman Gandhi evicted
Aman Gandhi, Mary Kom and Uditi Singh were the bottom three. Aman got the fewest votes, his second week in a row at the bottom, and because he had already lost a life in Week 5, he had to leave. Arishfa and Uditi were both in tears when Salman read out his name. Reports before the weekend of a double eviction, with Aman and Mary Kom both going, turned out to be wrong.
Salman also told the housemates that he would miss the next weekend because of a prior commitment and that Rohit Shetty would host in his place.
Week 5 (5-11 October): No eviction, Aman Gandhi loses a life
Week 5 brought a long nomination list, a health scare for Qazi Touqeer and a fight over ration that ran for days. It ended with no eviction and the season’s first two wild cards.
Week 5 nominations: eight housemates in danger
Nominations took place in Episode 31 on 6 October. Mahhi Vij nominated two of her own friends: Arishfa Khan, over the way she had reacted to a misunderstanding, and Aman Gandhi, saying she had given more to their friendship than he had. Aasif Khan nominated Love Gill, accusing her of talking about him behind his back, and Aman nominated Qazi Touqeer for not standing up for their group during Weekend Ka Vaar. Uditi Singh, who was still captain, used the final nomination on Mary Kom.
The eight nominees were Qazi Touqeer, Mahhi Vij, Kanika Mann, Gullu, Aman Gandhi, Arishfa Khan, Love Gill and Mary Kom.

Qazi Touqeer’s health scare
Qazi had been running a fever for a few days and was checked by a doctor in the medical room. On 6 October, some social media pages claimed he had dengue and had been taken out of the show. His team then posted on his official Instagram account that he had not been eliminated, that he was resting when he could and that he was still taking part. The team did not confirm the dengue claim. Qazi stayed in the house and was one of the Week 5 nominees.
The newsroom task and Love Gill’s ration grab
In Episode 32 on 7 October, Aasif Khan moderated a newsroom task in which housemates debated each other in pairs. The winners became captaincy contenders: Love Gill, Kanika Mann, Arishfa Khan, Uditi Singh, ScoutOP and Yung DSA. Aasif got a direct spot for moderating.
The debates soon got personal. ScoutOP claimed Qazi spat on him during an argument about Qazi’s “lollipop” remark to Kanika, and other housemates had to step in. In the kitchen, Gullu brought up Uditi’s ex-boyfriend during a row over a missing curry, and she broke down in tears. He apologised later.
The next night (Episode 33), the contenders turned thieves. Every dummy ration bag they carried to the storeroom was taken out of the house’s supply. Love bundled 33 items into a bedsheet and won a special power for it, but it left the house with only basic ration for the week. Kanika called her selfish, and the argument turned into personal remarks about Love’s looks.
Aasif Khan becomes captain
Love’s special power turned out to be the captaincy itself. In Episode 34 on 9 October, she ranked the seven contenders, and each rank was tied to a share of ration for the house. She ranked herself first but chose Aasif, whom she had placed fifth, which won the house 25% of its ration. Kanika, ranked seventh, would have brought 35%, and she asked Love why she had been passed over. Love said she wanted a captain who treats everyone with equal respect.
Aasif’s first job was calming the house down after a late-night prank war over “Taskar”, a tiger dummy that Qazi had been carrying around everywhere.
Weekend Ka Vaar: Salman backs Kanika
In the Saturday episode (Episode 35, 10 October), Salman Khan told Kanika Mann she was “back in the game”, and actor Wamiqa Gabbi, who came in with Rajkummar Rao, praised her game too. Gang leaders and mentors from MTV Roadies season 21 came on stage for a Roadies-themed game, and Kanika used it to call out Love Gill again. TV actor Manish Goel was introduced as a guest, and Salman then revealed that he was staying on as a contestant.
On Sunday (Episode 36, 11 October), Salman took ScoutOP and Yung DSA to task for reviving Qazi’s “lollipop” remark after it had been settled, and for talking about carrying their fights outside the house, which he treated as bullying. Qazi broke down when the talk turned to how he had been treated while he was ill, and Uditi Singh apologised for not helping him with food.
No eviction: Aman Gandhi loses a life
As the reports had said, nobody went home. Mary Kom, the only nominee down to one life, was declared safe first. Aman Gandhi got the fewest votes, but he still had both his lives, so he lost one and stayed.
Two wild cards: Manish Goel and Nakul Dhull
The rumoured names were right. Manish Goel, a TV actor known for Kasautii Zindagii Kay and, more recently, Anupamaa, entered on Saturday. Nakul Dhull, a Faridabad-based creator known online as Mitthu Don, followed on Sunday. Siasat had first reported the pair on 8 October, citing a fan page. Salman said it remained to be seen whether they would turn out to be wild cards or “mild cards”.
Nakul’s arrival also brought some of his old videos back into circulation. Aaj Tak reported that in one of them he calls women the “lower gender”. A claim on X, which Sunday Guardian reported before he went in, said he would be thrown out on his first day after a scuffle with Gullu. That was not far off: Bigg Boss threw him out after a fight with Gullu three days later (see Week 6).
Week 4 (28 September-4 October): Rhiti Tiwari out in the first mid-week eviction
Gullu’s ration gamble
The week began (Episode 23, 28 September) with Bigg Boss opening Door 2 of the 2X Room for captain Gullu. He had four options. Three of them gave the house 80% ration and returned the lives that two housemates had lost in a particular week (Week 1, 2 or 3). The fourth gave 120% ration and no lives back. Gullu picked the Week 1 option, so Kanika Mann and Uditi Singh got their second lives back.
Eleven housemates nominated
Nominations were done in pairs, and each pair had to agree on which of the two would be nominated. If they could not agree, both were. Only Arishfa Khan and Aasif Khan came out safe, and Gullu sat out as captain. The other 11 were all nominated: Rhiti Tiwari, Amrapali Dubey, Mahhi Vij, ScoutOP, Qazi Touqeer, Uditi Singh, Aman Gandhi, Kanika Mann, Love Gill, Yung DSA and Mary Kom.
The ration task and the captaincy race
In Episode 24 on 29 September, the women carried bags around the garden to collect ration. Arishfa Khan, who was sanchalak, first gave the final round to Love Gill and Rhiti Tiwari. Bigg Boss then asked Mary Kom, Yung DSA and Gullu whether they had helped Love, and they admitted handing her bags. Arishfa reversed her decision, and Uditi Singh and Mahhi Vij were declared the winners. That put the two of them in the captaincy race and cut the house’s ration from 80% to 50%. Yung DSA became the third contender after winning the “Dolly” task.
How Rhiti Tiwari was evicted
Then came the twist. Bigg Boss called the three contenders into the confession room and asked each of them to name the nominated housemate who had contributed the least. Mahhi named Mary Kom, Yung named Aman Gandhi and Uditi named Rhiti Tiwari, and the other two then agreed with Uditi’s choice. Rhiti had already lost a life in Week 3, so this took her last one. The decision came in Episode 26 on 1 October, and she walked out in Episode 27 the next night. It was the season’s first mid-week eviction.
Uditi said she found Rhiti’s personality “confusing”, and Rhiti did not argue with the label. Before leaving, she said she was the same person inside the house as outside and held no grudges. Amrapali Dubey cried and blamed herself for not keeping Rhiti safe in the pair nominations.
The exit came a week after Salman Khan called Rhiti’s diss track against Qazi and Uditi the “worst diss” and told her to start afresh. Some viewers backed the decision, while others called it biased. Talk that she had been sent to a secret room and would come back turned out to be false.
Uditi Singh becomes captain
In the captaincy task (Episode 27, 2 October), each contender had to walk a track with a partner while balancing a basketball on two sticks, as the other pairs tried to make them drop it. Uditi had Aman Gandhi as her partner, Mahhi had Qazi and Yung had ScoutOP. Scout knocked Mahhi and Qazi out, but in the final round Gullu got onto the track and made Yung and Scout’s ball fall. Uditi and Aman won, and Uditi became captain.
Weekend Ka Vaar: Mary Kom loses a life
Over the weekend of 3 and 4 October, Salman confronted Aman, Uditi and Arishfa for discussing Mahhi behind her back. He told the housemates not to go quiet for the whole week out of fear of being scolded on the weekend, and said he was not biased towards Qazi. If he were, he pointed out, he would not have exposed Qazi’s prank in Week 2. Mika Singh came in to sing with the housemates, and Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan dropped by to promote their film.
Mary Kom got the fewest votes, but there was no eviction. She lost one of her two lives instead.
Week 3 (21-27 September): Isha Rikhi evicted
Aman takes Yung’s life for food
The house had lost the previous ration task and was short of food. In Episode 16 on 21 September, Bigg Boss offered a luxury ration basket. The first housemate to reach Room No. 20 could take a life from anyone who still had two. Aman Gandhi got there first and took Yung DSA’s, winning the basket for the house.
Nominations came with a twist as well. Instead of naming people to nominate, everyone named two housemates whose lives they wanted to save. Nobody named Isha Rikhi or Yung DSA, so they became the week’s only two nominees.
Isha and Rhiti lose a life each
In Episode 17 on 22 September, the housemates who still had two lives had to rank themselves for ration. Everyone put Qazi first. Kanika Mann, as sanchalak, agreed with six positions and changed four, so the house got 60% ration. Isha and Rhiti finished in the bottom two places, and Bigg Boss took a life from each of them.
The same episode had one of the season’s quieter moments, when Gullu opened up to Qazi about his divorce.
Gullu keeps the captaincy
The captaincy race (Episode 20, 25 September) began with housemates stamping rejections on the contenders, which knocked Aasif Khan out first. It came down to Mary Kom, Rhiti Tiwari and Love Gill, and then Bigg Boss let Gullu defend his title. The giant-ball relay that followed turned physical when Qazi tried to take the ball from Yung DSA, who was sitting on it, and Yung was hurt. When Isha confronted Qazi about it, he shouted at her, and she later refused his apology.
In the final round, housemates stood next to the contender they backed. Six stood with Gullu, four with Love and only Rhiti with Mary Kom. Gullu stayed captain for a second week.
Weekend Ka Vaar: Isha Rikhi goes home
Salman Khan spent part of the weekend of 26 and 27 September talking about fake AI-generated videos of celebrities, pointing out that ordinary people have far fewer ways to fight them. He called Rhiti’s diss track against Qazi and Uditi the “worst diss” and asked why the others had not stood up against it. Aman apologised to Kanika for a comment about her having had a facial procedure. Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat came in to promote Drishyam: The Conclusion, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Raghubir Yadav also visited.
Isha Rikhi got fewer votes than Yung DSA and became the second housemate evicted, after about three weeks in the house. In a note after her exit, she thanked viewers, said the last few weeks had been emotionally hard and apologised to anyone who felt she had let them down.
Week 2 (14-20 September): Rohed Khan is the first eviction
Nominations cancelled
Bigg Boss scrapped the usual nominations in Episode 9 on 14 September and directly nominated Aasif Khan, Rohed Khan and ScoutOP for discussing nominations, which is against the house rules.
Three lives taken in the 2X Room
Gullu, Kanika Mann and Mahhi Vij were the captaincy contenders (Rhiti Tiwari chose not to run). In the 2X Room, each of them took a life from one of the three nominees. Gullu took ScoutOP’s, Kanika took Rohed Khan’s and Mahhi took Aasif Khan’s, which left all three nominees on one life. Gullu then won the captaincy, beating Kanika and Mahhi in Episode 12 on 17 September.
It was a noisy week. Arishfa Khan’s “chamchi” comment about Love Gill set off a group fight, and several housemates objected to Qazi’s “ganji gudiya” remark, which he said was a joke. Mahhi and Mary Kom clashed in Episode 13, and the house went without ration after losing a task.
Weekend Ka Vaar: Salman’s staged health scare
On 19 September, Salman Khan spoke about online trolling, took his shirt off to dare trolls to comment on his body, and criticised the way women are photographed from behind and posted online for laughs. The episode ended with Salman appearing to collapse on stage.
On Sunday, he revealed it had been an act. It was set up to show Qazi Touqeer why joking about health is not funny, after Qazi had faked feeling unwell inside the house. Qazi had told the cameras he was acting, but the other housemates did not know that. Once Salman left, the house turned on Qazi, and Rhiti Tiwari’s reaction was the loudest.
Rohed Khan got the fewest votes and, with no life left, became the first housemate evicted. The Weekend Ka Vaar was shot on 18 September, and his exit aired in Episode 15 on 20 September. Some fans felt the lifeline rule had been applied unevenly, since Uditi Singh had survived after finishing last in Week 1. Favouritism complaints are nothing new for the show either. They were a big part of why so many viewers turned on Bigg Boss 19 last year.
Week 1 (6-13 September): The launch and a no-eviction week
Bigg Boss 20 premiered on 6 September on JioHotstar and Colors TV. Salman Khan opened the night with a medley of 20 of his own songs, and 16 housemates went in. One place was decided by viewers: Punjabi actress Love Gill beat Rhiya Ahir in the Fans Ka Faisla vote on JioHotstar. On stage, Salman told Isha Rikhi, whose split from rapper Badshah had made headlines, that everyone goes through breakups and that she should focus on the present.
The first captaincy task got heated, with sanchalak Qazi Touqeer arguing with Yung DSA. Aasif Khan, Gullu and Yung made the final stage and were sent to the 2X Room, where each named a housemate whose life they would take: Aasif picked Arishfa Khan, Gullu picked Uditi Singh and Yung picked Kanika Mann. Yung won the captaincy, and Kanika lost a life.
In the first nominations, every housemate named two people. Love Gill got the most votes (six), followed by Arishfa Khan and Kanika Mann (five each) and Uditi Singh (four), and those four were nominated.
There was no shortage of fights. Amrapali Dubey and Arishfa Khan argued over a remark about the 2002 film Raaz. Kanika and Yung clashed over house duties after he assumed she was asleep (she said she had just put in eye drops), and ScoutOP and Gullu fought over dirty utensils. Aasif Khan and Aman Gandhi’s argument over food left on the dining table got out of hand after Aasif called Aman “jaahil”.
At the first Weekend Ka Vaar (12-13 September), Salman said that however many stars were in the house, Qazi Touqeer was the only rockstar. The housemates named Qazi the week’s “Big Boss” and Aman the “Big Loss”. Uditi Singh got the fewest votes, but the makers had said there would be no eviction in the first week, so she lost a life and stayed.
Bigg Boss 20 elimination list
Five housemates have been evicted so far, and Bigg Boss also threw out wild card Nakul Dhull for violence. The weeks with no eviction are listed too, so you can see who survived on a lifeline. Rhiya Ahir is not counted, as she lost the Fans Ka Faisla vote before launch and never entered the house.

Nominations week by week
A nomination has not meant much on its own this season. Love Gill has been nominated in five of the seven weeks, and Kanika Mann, Arishfa Khan and Uditi Singh in four each, and all four are still in the house. Aasif Khan has faced the public vote only once, in Week 2.
| Week | Nominated | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Love Gill, Arishfa Khan, Kanika Mann, Uditi Singh | No eviction. Uditi Singh lost a life |

Week 2 had no nominations by the housemates. Bigg Boss nominated Aasif Khan, Rohed Khan and ScoutOP directly as a punishment for discussing nominations. In Weeks 6 and 7, the captain also put one housemate straight into the nominations: Aasif Khan picked Mahhi Vij, and ScoutOP picked Uditi Singh.
Bigg Boss 20 captains
The captain is safe from that week’s nominations and often gets a say in the twists. This season, Uditi Singh used the captain’s final nomination in Week 5, Gullu got to choose between ration and lives behind Door 2, and Aasif Khan and ScoutOP each put a housemate straight into the nominations.
| Week | Captain | How they got it |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Yung DSA | Won the first captaincy task against Aasif Khan and Gullu |
| Week 2 | Gullu (Kushal Tanwar) | Beat Kanika Mann and Mahhi Vij |
| Week 3 | Gullu (Kushal Tanwar) | Defended his title. Six housemates stood with him in the final round |
| Week 4 | Uditi Singh | Won the basketball balancing task with Aman Gandhi as her partner |
| Week 5 | Aasif Khan | Picked by Love Gill with her special power, which won the house 25% ration |
| Week 6 | ScoutOP (Tanmay Singh) | Last one left after four former captains knocked out two housemates each in the 2X Room |
| Week 7 | Mahhi Vij | Picked by Qazi Touqeer, who had the final say in the captaincy task |
Gullu is the only housemate to have been captain twice so far.

Rohed Khan. His exit was shown in Episode 15 on 20 September.
Who was evicted from Bigg Boss 20 this week?
Mary Kom. Guest host Rohit Shetty announced it on the Saturday Weekend Ka Vaar on 24 October. She was already down to one life, and the vote took it. Manish Goel also lost a life but stayed.
Who is the captain of Bigg Boss 20 this week?
Mahhi Vij. Qazi Touqeer picked her in the final round of the captaincy task in Episode 48 on 23 October.
Who is nominated in Bigg Boss 20 this week?
The Week 8 nominations have not aired yet. In Week 7, the nominees were Uditi Singh, Manish Goel, Amrapali Dubey, Arishfa Khan, Love Gill, Gullu and Mary Kom.
How do lifelines work in Bigg Boss 20?
Every housemate started with two lives. Getting the fewest votes, or having a life taken in a task, costs one. A housemate is evicted only after losing both, and lives can be won back through twists such as Door 2 of the 2X Room. Going into Week 8, Aasif Khan, Arishfa Khan, ScoutOP, Yung DSA and Manish Goel are all on their last life.
How many contestants are in Bigg Boss 20?
Sixteen housemates entered on 6 September, and two wild cards joined in Week 5. Twelve are still in the house after Week 7.
Who won Fans Ka Faisla in Bigg Boss 20?
Love Gill. She beat Rhiya Ahir in the audience vote and entered the house on premiere night.
Has Qazi Touqeer left Bigg Boss 20?
No. Reports on 6 October claimed he had dengue and had been taken out, but his team said he had a fever, was under medical care and had not been eliminated.
Are there any wild cards in Bigg Boss 20?
Yes, two so far. TV actor Manish Goel entered on 10 October and social media creator Nakul Dhull on 11 October. Bigg Boss threw Nakul out on 14 October after he got physical with Gullu, and Manish is still in the house.
Why was Nakul Dhull thrown out of Bigg Boss 20?
For physical violence. He shoved Gullu during an argument about Qazi Touqeer’s remark about ScoutOP, and the two had to be pulled apart. Bigg Boss called everyone to the living room and told him to leave in Episode 39 on 14 October.
Why did Rohit Shetty host Weekend Ka Vaar?
Salman Khan told the housemates on 18 October that a prior commitment would keep him away, so Rohit Shetty hosted the Week 7 episodes on 24 and 25 October. Salman said he would be back the following weekend.
When did Bigg Boss 20 start?

What time does Bigg Boss 20 air?
