Tamasha Season 5 Winner: Babrik Shah, Final Standings and Prize Money

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Tamasha Season 5 is over, and Babrik Shah is the winner. The film actor was crowned champion in the grand finale on ARY Digital on 10 October (Day 64) and took home Rs 47 lakh (Rs 4.7 million) and the trophy. Esra Ayesha finished as the runner-up and Fasih Khalid came third.

We tracked every elimination on this page through the season. It now has the final results, followed by the full record of eliminations, nominations and Wazeers. Where something was only reported and not confirmed on air, we say so.

Latest: Babrik Shah beat Esra Ayesha in the final two to win the season. King Hassan and Filmstar Laila were the last housemates eliminated before the finale, which left a final six of Babrik Shah, Esra Ayesha, Fasih Khalid, Dr Zee Khan, Yasir Alam and Samiya Hijab.

Who won Tamasha Season 5?

Babrik Shah won Tamasha Season 5. Six finalists went into the grand finale on 10 October, and in the closing stages it came down to Babrik Shah, Esra Ayesha and Fasih Khalid. Fasih went out first of the three, leaving Babrik and Esra in the final two. Adnan Siddiqui, as Badshah Salamat, then announced Babrik as the winner, and Babrik hugged him as the studio cheered.

The result was reported by Daily Pakistan, 24NewsHD and Reviewit. No vote counts have been reported.

Babrik had looked like a front-runner for a while. His Week 8 ice block challenge win was reported to have secured his place in the finale, and Tamasha 4 winner Saif Ali Khan named Babrik Shah, Esra Ayesha and Fasih Khalid as his top three a week before the finale. All three of his picks finished in the top three.

Tamasha winners so far

• Season 1 (2022): Umer Aalam
• Season 2 (2023): Aruba Mirza
• Season 3 (2024): Aqeel Malik
• Season 4 (2025): Saif Ali Khan
• Season 5 (2026): Babrik Shah

Tamasha Season 5 prize money

Babrik Shah won Rs 47 lakh (Rs 4.7 million) along with the Tamasha trophy. That is almost double the Rs 24–25 lakh on offer in earlier seasons. No prize amount has been reported for the runner-up or the other finalists.

Tamasha Season 5 final standings

Dr Zee Khan, Yasir Alam and Samiya Hijab all reached the grand finale and finished in the top six. The order in which they went out on finale night has not been reported, so we have not ranked them against each other.

Positions 9 to 18 follow the order of elimination: Rabia Javaid Sheikh (9th), Sahrish Ahmed (10th), Zayb Khan (11th), Hamza Joher (12th), Ramsha Salahuddin (13th), Saqib Sumeer (14th), Maysam Hussain (15th), Kubra Eshaq (16th), Jay Kadn (17th) and Iman Lakhani (18th). Wildcard Meera, who stayed for two days, is not ranked.

How the count works. Eighteen housemates entered on launch night. Meera joined later as a wildcard but left two days after, so she doesn’t change the count. Twelve housemates were eliminated before the finale, which left six finalists.

Finale week eliminations

Eight housemates went into finale week, and two more left before the grand finale.

King Hassan – voted out ahead of the finale

King Hassan, the rapper and poet from Azad Kashmir, was nominated alongside Filmstar Laila, and the audience voted him out. Reviewit reported his exit on 5 October. In his goodbye speech, he called the show a dream come true for someone from a village with few opportunities, and told viewers never to give up.

Filmstar Laila – a surprise exit before the finale

Filmstar Laila was the last housemate eliminated before the finale, in a surprise exit reported on 7 October. Badshah Salamat came into the house to see her off and told her she had played well and had a strong career ahead of her. Many viewers felt she could have made the top five.

Her exit left the final six, which Adnan Siddiqui confirmed as the season’s finalists: Babrik Shah, Esra Ayesha, Fasih Khalid, Dr Zee Khan, Yasir Alam and Samiya Hijab (Reviewit, Daily Infotainment).

Week 8 eliminations: Sahrish Ahmed and Rabia Javaid Sheikh

Week 8 had two eliminations, the same as the week before, when Hamza Joher and Zayb Khan went out.

Sahrish Ahmed – mid-week elimination, Day 55

Sahrish Ahmed became the ninth housemate eliminated from Tamasha 5. Her exit was shown in Episode 55 on 1 October, though the news had already broken on 29 September. Before leaving, she met Esra and Laila and said she had enjoyed her stay and was going with no hard feelings.

Viewers were split on it. Some felt her exit was overdue, while her fans had hoped to see her in the finale. In interviews after coming out, Sahrish said she has no wish to meet Yasir Alam outside the show, and that she was the one who nicknamed him “monitor” because of his controlling nature. Her full exit interview is on the ARY Podcast.

Rabia Javaid Sheikh – elimination special, Day 57

Rabia Javaid Sheikh left in the Episode 57 elimination special on 3 October. A few sites have called this the ninth elimination, but once Sahrish’s mid-week exit is counted, Rabia is the tenth housemate to be eliminated.

Many viewers did not see this one coming, as Rabia was seen as a strong contender for the finale. She walked out of the house with a smile, and her family gave her a warm welcome with flowers when she landed back in Islamabad. She has also talked about her journey on the ARY Podcast.

Babrik Shah’s ice block win

At the start of Week 8, Babrik Shah won the ice block challenge, where housemates had to melt a block of ice to get out the Tamasha cue card frozen inside it. Reviewit and Daily Infotainment reported that the win secured his place in the finale.

Tamasha 4 winner Saif Ali Khan picks his top 3

Saif Ali Khan, who won Tamasha Season 4, shared his ratings of this season’s housemates on 3 October. He gave Babrik Shah his highest score, 9 out of 10, and named Babrik Shah, Esra Ayesha and Fasih Khalid as his top three. He also said Dr Zee Khan was the one who kept the season entertaining, but cut marks from Esra over what he saw as disrespect towards elders. Reviewit and Daily Infotainment both carried his ratings. All three went on to finish in the top three.

Tamasha Season 5 elimination tracker

Twelve housemates were eliminated before the grand finale. Meera is listed separately because she came in as a wildcard and her exit is not counted as a regular eviction.

How Jay Kadn’s exit was reported

Reports don’t agree on this one. ARY Digital’s Buzz podcast, in its episode dated 19 August, called it the second elimination of the season. But Reviewit.pk and another entertainment site said on 20 August that he chose to leave because of health concerns. The second site was quoting unnamed sources.

What we know for sure is that Jay Kadn left the house on Day 12 (19 August). There has been no official word on whether he was voted out or left on his own.

How Meera’s exit was reported

Meera came in as a wildcard on Day 24 and was gone by Day 26. 24NewsHD reported her exit on 3 September, and Yes Magazine and Niche.com.pk covered Laila’s reaction to it.

Why she left is still unclear. Fan wikis list it as a voluntary walk, but 24NewsHD wrote about fans questioning the makers over it, which hints that it was not entirely her decision. Either way, she entered on Day 24, left on Day 26, and her exit is not counted as a regular eviction.

How Hamza Joher’s exit was reported

Hamza Joher went out in a mid-week elimination shown in Episode 48 on 24 September. ARY’s podcast counts it as the seventh elimination. On his way out, he said it felt like the right time to go, as he had stepped back from the games in the house.

The 19 September twist

In Episode 43, the elimination special on 19 September, Esra Ayesha was named as the housemate leaving. After she had said her goodbyes, Badshah Salamat called her back and announced there would be no elimination that week. Reviewit.pk and Daily Infotainment both reported the U-turn. Esra went on to finish as the runner-up.

A note on episode and day numbering

ARY’s episode numbers have matched the day count since the 8 August premiere. Episode 8 aired on 15 August, Episode 29 on 5 September, Episode 50 on 26 September, Episode 55 on 1 October, Episode 57 on 3 October and the grand finale, Episode 64, on 10 October. We use the same day numbers throughout this page.

Elimination news often comes out a day or two before the episode airs, because these episodes are recorded in advance. The dates on this page are the dates the episodes aired on ARY Digital. The two finale-week exits are the exception: they are listed by the date they were reported, as we could not confirm which episodes they aired in.

Nominations

Every week, housemates nominate each other. The nominated housemates face a public vote, and the one with the least support goes home. The Wazeer is usually safe that week.

Being nominated didn’t mean a housemate was leaving. Three of the six finalists, Samiya Hijab, Yasir Alam and Dr Zee Khan, were nominated in Week 4 and survived.

Week 4

Six housemates were nominated in Week 4, and Saqib Sumeer went home from that list on Day 29. We weren’t able to confirm full nomination lists for the later weeks, so they are not listed here. In finale week, King Hassan and Filmstar Laila were both nominated, and the audience voted King Hassan out.

Wazeer history

The Wazeer is the house captain in Tamasha. The Wazeer has a say in house decisions and is normally safe from that week’s nominations.

Laila was made Wazeer after the first elimination, and some sites still list her as the Wazeer. That is out of date, as the role changed hands several times after that. The last Wazeer we could confirm was Yasir Alam, who took over in Week 8.

What happened after Fasih?

Fasih Khalid’s turn as Wazeer was cut short. In Episode 33 on 9 September, Badshah Salamat said he was not happy with how Fasih was running the house and took the role away from him. Dr Zee Khan, who had been named in a mid-week elimination in Episode 32 the night before, came back into the house as the new Wazeer.

After that, the role changed hands every week:

• Week 6: Hamza Joher. He became Wazeer in Episode 36 on 12 September, the same night Ramsha Salahuddin was eliminated.
• Week 7: Rabia Javaid Sheikh. She took charge in Episode 43 on 19 September, the night Esra was called back and no one went home. The official Tamasha channel announced her as the new Wazir.
• Week 8: Yasir Alam. He became Wazeer in Episode 51 on 27 September, with Filmstar Laila as his Mushir (adviser).

Four former Wazeers were eliminated before the finale: Hamza Joher on Day 48, Zayb Khan on Day 50, Rabia Javaid Sheikh on Day 57 and Filmstar Laila in finale week. The other four, Esra Ayesha, Fasih Khalid, Dr Zee Khan and Yasir Alam, all reached the final six.

The 18 original contestants

Spellings vary between outlets. Saqib Sumeer also appears as Saqib Sameer, Maysam Hussain as Maysam Hassan, Sahrish Ahmed as Sehrish Ahmed, and Rabia Javaid Sheikh as Rabiya Javed Sheikh. For a proper introduction to each housemate, see The Express Tribune’s cast guide.

Wildcards and late entrants

Film actress Meera was the season’s only wildcard entrant. Her entry was shown in Episode 24 on 31 August and was reported by 24NewsHD, Niche.com.pk and Pakistan Times.

No other wildcard or returning housemate was confirmed during the season. Two names, Zainab and Resham, came up in talk around the season, but neither appeared in any confirmed housemate list.

Episode guide

This list only includes episodes whose dates we could check against ARY’s own listings.

From Episode 26 onward, only elimination episodes and other big moments are listed. Full episodes are on ARY Digital’s official Tamasha Season 5 page.

Timing and where to watch

The grand finale aired live on ARY Digital and ARY Plus on 10 October. Elimination specials and other big episodes sometimes aired outside the regular slot.

Confirmed and unconfirmed claims

Plenty of rumours did the rounds this season. Before launch, some posts even claimed Rakhi Sawant was joining the house, but she was never part of the cast. She did get involved at the end, though: ahead of the finale, she posted a TikTok video asking viewers to vote for Dr Zee Khan. Here is where each claim stands.
